“The little town of Bassardien with fusional lovers, rare birds, bewildered mammals, magical trees, houses like open hearts and boat-like cars, has continued to pursue its contemplative journey among dreams that the artist shares with us. But this intimate choreography conquered continents of unpublished materials first –especially marouflages (a technique for affixing a painted canvas to a wall to be used as a mural), and bold mixed media – like the great beaches on black paper on the tank. The point of completion of the forms is done here, obviously, in the renewal of space and the construction of new structures – hence the symbolic figures still gain power of suggestion.
